FriktionTek® simultaneously restores and protects worn parts creating a smoother, more durable surface. It effectively optimizes performance while reducing friction and wear.

While the science is advanced, the application is simple. FriktionTek® by XADO works by applying a long-lasting ceramic-metal (cermet) surface to high-mileage engines while you drive. It penetrates metal surfaces up to 30 microns deep and forms a strong new ceramic-metal bond.

Although the technology provides similar benefits to traditional lubricants, it works in a completely different way. Instead of modifying the oil, FriktionTek® modifies the surface structure of the metal to make it act more like a ceramic. Ceramics and ceramic-metal alloys (known for their strength, durability, smoothness, high heat-resistance and regenerative properties) have been used as a spray coating for decades in racing and industry, including aviation and nuclear submarine propulsion. With FriktionTek®, a ceramic-metal coating can now be applied without disassembly. By eliminating labor, FriktionTek® provides a huge cost-savings with the same benefit.

FriktionTek® is an eco-friendly product. It is non-toxic and non-flammible. FriktionTek® consists of a natural ceramic compound suspended in a synthetic gel. It contains no PTFEs, metals, detergents, or waxes.

Due to the particle size, FriktionTek® cannot be removed by oil filters nor can it clog hoses or filters. FriktionTek® only works on metal surfaces and has no effect on seals or gaskets. FriktionTek® is compatible with all oil types and oil additives.

Instructions and Dosage

Automatic Transmission Treatment

• Most automatic transmissions require one treatment of one 18 ML cartridge.
• To help the gel travel down the filler tube, we recommend that you add the gel to a minimum of 1 oz of ATF oil.
• Drive for 15 minutes.

Treatment is complete after 100 hours operation.

Application for Steering Pump

• Add the treatment into the steering pump reservoir.
• Check the operating oil level.
• After adding FriktionTek, drive for 5-10 minutes.

Treatment is complete after 50 hours operation.

Dosage

• Steering Pumps (1-2 quart oil system volume) | 9 ML Cartridge
• Automatic Transmission (2-5 quart oil system volume) | 18 ML Cartridge
• Hydraulic systems with 5-8 quart oil system volume | two 18 ML Cartridges

Note!

• A sign that the treatment is working is operation accuracy, noise reduction and steering wheel force augmentation ( in steering gear operation), as early as the first few miles of running.
  
• If, after 75-100 miles, improvement does not occur, the part may either be beyond repair or is a mistaken diagnostics.
