FriktionTek® Ceramic Diesel Engine oil additive consists of a natural ceramic compound suspended in a synthetic gel. It contains no PTFEs, metals, detergents, chlorine, carbon or waxes. Due to the particle size, FriktionTek® cannot clog oil filters or hoses. It only works on metal surfaces and has no effect on seals or gaskets. FriktionTek® is compatible with all oil types and oil additives. Instructions Warm your engine up to its normal running temperature. Turn off. Add FriktionTek to the crankcase oil. DO NOT ADD TO THE GAS TANK. NOTE: FriktionTek works better on boundry friction than hydrodynamic friction zones. Cylinder walls and piston rings coat within 1,000 miles. Since there is much less friction, bearings may take longer to see any effects of treatment. Oil may be changed after 1,250 miles even though bearing surfaces are still undergoing the hardening process |
