FriktionTek® Engine Treatment

FriktionTek® simultaneously restores and protects worn parts creating a smoother, more durable surface. It effectively optimizes performance while reducing friction and wear.

While the science is advanced, the application is simple. FriktionTek® by XADO works by applying a long-lasting ceramic-metal (cermet) surface to high-mileage engines while you drive. It penetrates metal surfaces up to 30 microns deep and forms a strong new ceramic-metal bond.

Although the technology provides similar benefits to traditional lubricants, it works in a completely different way. Instead of modifying the oil, FriktionTek® modifies the surface structure of the metal to make it act more like a ceramic. Ceramics and ceramic-metal alloys (known for their strength, durability, smoothness, high heat-resistance and regenerative properties) have been used as a spray coating for decades in racing and industry, including aviation and nuclear submarine propulsion. With FriktionTek®, a ceramic-metal coating can now be applied without disassembly. By eliminating labor, FriktionTek provides a huge cost-savings with the same benefit.

FriktionTek® is an eco-friendly product. It is non-toxic and non-flammible. FriktionTek® consists of a natural ceramic compound suspended in a synthetic gel. It contains no PTFEs, metals, detergents, or waxes.

Due to the particle size, FriktionTek® cannot be removed by oil filters nor can it clog hoses or filters. FriktionTek® only works on metal surfaces and has no effect on seals or gaskets. FriktionTek™ is compatible with all oil types and oil additives.

Select: High Mileage Restoration | Low Mileage Protection

High Mileage Restoration Treatment: For vehicles with more than 75,000 miles or vehicles experiencing problems (average car, SUV or light-duty truck that holds 3-10 quarts of oil)

  • Step 1
    Warm engine for 10 - 15 minutes.
    Add 18 ML cartridge of Gasoline Engine Treatment to crankcase. DO NOT ADD TO GAS TANK.

    Start the engine and let it idle for 5-10 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Warm engine for 10 - 15 minutes.
    Add another cartridge of Gasoline Engine Treatment to crankcase. DO NOT ADD TO GAS TANK.

    Start the engine and let it idle for 5-10 minutes.

Low Mileage Protection Treatment: For vehicles with less than 75,000 miles in good working condition (average car, SUV or light-duty truck that holds 3-10 quarts of oil)

  • One Step Process
    Warm engine for 10 - 15 minutes.
    Add 18 ML cartridge of Gasoline Engine Treatment to crankcase. DO NOT ADD TO GAS TANK.

    Start the engine and let it idle for 5-10 minutes.

Recommended Dosage

High Mileage Engine (100,000 miles and vehicles with signs of problems)

  • two 18 Ml Cartridge

Lower Mileage Vehicle (100,000 miles or less)

  • one 18 Ml Cartridge

Note!

  • Do not change oil for 1000 miles, when treatment process is complete.
  • The protective cermet coating forms on any operative mechanism with no effect on seals or gaskets.
